DetailsDescription:
Recently a patch was applied to netcfg which adds new a profile option called DNS_OPTIONS. Here's the corresponding ticket: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/31740 Unfortunately that patch wasn't applied properly. /usr/lib/network/connections/ethernet actually contains these lines now: for dnsoption in "${DNS_OPTIONS[@]}"; do echo "option $dnsoption" >>/etc/resolv.conf done However, "man resolv.conf" says that the thing must be named "options" and not "option". I can confirm that "option single-request" doesn't work while "options single-request" works as expected (confirmed with tcpdump). Additional info: * netcfg 3.0-1 Steps to reproduce: - Install netcfg - Observe /usr/lib/network/connections/ethernet, search for "option" - Compare with "man resolv.conf" |
