Not a bug, just thught it'd be nice if you added a
2>/dev/null for the stripping section, there's no
hurt there. just the part that outputs crap like:
==> Compressing man pages... ==> Stripping debugging symbols from libraries... find: pkg//lib: No such file or directory find: pkg/usr/lib: No such file or directory find: pkg/usr/local/lib: No such file or directory find: pkg/opt/*/lib: No such file or directory ==> Stripping symbols from binaries... find: pkg//bin: No such file or directory find: pkg//sbin: No such file or directory find: pkg/usr/sbin: No such file or directory find: pkg/usr/local/bin: No such file or directory find: pkg/usr/local/sbin: No such file or directory find: pkg/opt/*/bin: No such file or directory find: pkg/opt/*/sbin: No such file or directory ==> Generating .PKGINFO file... ==> Generating .FILELIST file... ==> Compressing package... It's especially annoying when you use color and that gets in the way. Small 1-sec change. -dorph |
