Description:

Rhythmbox (extra/rhythmbox 2.98-3) will build a collection from music files and play them successfully. If Rhythmbox is closed and reopened, the music never loads and the application is unusable. See below for debug message.


Additional info:

This problem does not occur using the rhythmbox-git package, but the rhythmbox-git package suffers from bug #32008.

Steps to reproduce:

Start Rhythmbox with "rhythmbox -d"
Procure a large music collection. Actual size unknown. Mine is approximately 55,000 songs and 300GB in size.
Import music into Rhythmbox.
Close Rhythmbox.
Re-open Rhythmbox with "rhythmbox -d"

This problem still occurs with rhythmbox 2.97-3. I was able to reload my collection after installing it, but after closing and reopening, the same error occurred.

Problem no longer occurs when opened without the -d option, but persists with the -d operand
