Reason for closing:  Upstream
Additional comments about closing:  We are letting upstream make all the decisions here by shipping a minimalistic libao.conf.

OK nor relay a error in the libao.conf.
libao try to choose automatically the best ALSA device.
And prefers the surround* once and only considers default as last choice.
As far as I understand, playback from multiple sources is only possible if thy choose the seam way to assess the sound device. And this causes the problem.

If I'm right libao.conf is not port of the upstream packet. So maybe be it is possible to change is.

Over all I was a little bit to fast opening a Bug report here.
If 'default' could cause problems or libao.conf is provided from upstream, closure the Bug.
