Reason for closing:  Won't fix
Additional comments about closing:  Intermediate problem caused after installing GNOME 3.6 updates; solved by rebooting the machine.

Hi, thanks for reporting. Does thunar crash when you start it? What are the steps to reproduce?

Try logging out and back in again. If that doesn't work, also do a system reboot.

I remember seeing this issue after installing the GNOME 3.6 updates (could be GVFS related). A system reboot brought everything back to normal.

yes, quoto the above comment, I updated the system with only a few libraries and related paccketti upgrade to GNOME 3.6 (even if I do not use fluxbox but that WM) I rebooted the system and everything is back to normal, even though I did not understand what is the reason for the crash ...
I also raised the issue on the bugtracker xfce -> thunar and they told me that it is a configuration problem: https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9441
