Steps to reproduce:

upgrade to version 4.2.4-1 of package virtualbox-guest-modules
sudo modprobe -a vboxguest vboxsf vboxvideo
ERROR: could not insert 'vboxguest': Exec format error

uname -r
3.6.2-1-ARCH


For me, i've just downgraded to the older version:
pacman -U ./virtualbox-guest-modules-4.2.2-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz ./virtualbox-guest-utils-4.2.2-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz

This is a workaround.

Version in core is 3.6.3 and version in testing is 3.6.4. Please try with the right kernel.
