Description:

After upgrading the kernel (This started a couple versions back for both linux and systemd, but is still present), and rebooting, the system has high load on boot and continuously after boot. Looking in the systemd journal (attached), one of the systemd-udevd workers segfaults when it tries to load the module i82975x_edac.

Additional info:
kernel 3.6.3-1
systemd 195-2

Steps to reproduce:
1) Install kernel
2) Reboot and have the module try to load

A work around is simply to remove/disable the module.

Far more likely to be a problem with the module than with udevd.

Status on 3.7.x?

The machines where this issue presents itself are currently out of service, I should have them back up with kernel 3.7 in 1-2 weeks and I'll update then if the issue persists.
