Details

Opengtl is the only package in the Archlinux tree built with llvm instead of gcc.
I dont see the reason for this.
I would like to request to build it with gcc instead.

Attached is a patch for fixing the build with gcc 4.7

LLVM is not a standalone compiler, so I don't understand what you mean by "built with llvm instead of gcc".

Note that this is not my package (it's an orphan), but I'll try to address your concern if you elaborate a bit.
