With the attached patch, Iphone 5 is able to tether following instructions upon: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/IPhone_Tethering I built my kernel incorporating the attached patch from git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/davem/net.git and it works. I don't know why this patch simply isn't in the stable kernel. I don't see a reason to patch it in our kernel, but the package's maintainers have the final say.

New kernels come out every 2–3 months and 3.6 was released on 2012-09-30. So expect 3.7 in a month or two.
