DetailsIf you try to start a VirtualBox VM without the kernel module loaded, this error message appears:
----- Kernel driver not installed (rc=-1908) The VirtualBox Linux kernel driver (vboxdrv) is either not loaded or there is a permission problem with /dev/vboxdrv. Please reinstall the kernel module by executing 'pacman -S virtualbox-modules' as root. If you don't use our stock kernel, install virtualbox-host-source andexecute dkms autoinstall . ----- Running the given pacman command says "error: target not found: virtualbox-modules". I believe it is now called virtualbox-host-modules. Also there is a space missing before "execute" on the last line of the message. |
