The icons of the login screen (the shutdown button etc) do not work, if gdm is installed, but gnome is not installed. It is still possible to use gdm, but it looks terrible. Steps to reproduce: Set up a new arch linux installation, install only the necessary things to run X and gdm, start gdm. The icons will be broken. As soon as gnome is installed, they worked, so it is probably a missing dependency to gnome-icon-theme. |
