Description:
Ranger 1.5.5 uses #!/usr/bin/python which points to python3, but it has to use python2, because the ranger modules are installed in the python2 PYTHON_PATH.

Steps to reproduce:
1. install ranger from community repo
2. start ranger
3. watch it fail.

Okay, clearly I was talking out of my backside... The module is of course installed into the python3 PYTHON_PATH... but it still doesn't work. The summary of this bug is misleading, so I would like to request closure of this bug.

Oh, dear. I don't know how I managed to so thoroughly mess this up. Ranger works perfectly fine now. I am not sure what I changed. I already used the closure request button, so disregard this bug entirely.
