Description:
ibus-1.4.99.20120822-1 seems to be missing various python dependencies.

$ ibus-setup
Traceback (most recent call last):

ImportError: No module named gi.repository
$ sudo pacman -S python2-gobject
[ ... snip ...]
$ ibus-setup
