prboom 2.5.0-7 fails to start on my x86_64 machine, citing signal 4 (SIGILL). It seems to be built with AVX instructions, in particular the one that fails is: => 0x488cde: vcvtsi2ss %eax,%xmm0,%xmm0 Additional info: My CPU: Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU N450 * package version(s) prboom 2.5.0-7 I have not tested the i686 build. Steps to reproduce: Download the Freedoom doom2.wad Run "prboom -iwad doom2.wad" Expected result: the game starts Observed result: I_SignalHandler: Exiting on signal: signal 4 |
