As soon as I upgraded pyqt, python2-pyqt and pyqt-common to version 4.9.5-3 the IMAP account setup in Kmail remains offline with no way to turn it online. The same offline state is shown in akonadiconsole. Downgrading the 3 pyqt packages to 4.9.5-2 solves the problem and the IMAP resource becomes online. Steps to reproduce: Upgrade pyqt and reboot. |

Works for me. Check your ~/.xsession-error file or try with a new user.
After upgrading the packages again I can't reproduce it either.
