DetailsDescription:
The media-keys plugin is not working. That makes every custom keyboard shortcut, as well as any multimedia key, non functional. Additional info: * Version: gnome-settings-daemon 3.4.2-1 * Running the program with `--debug` it prints: (gnome-settings-daemon:3501): media-keys-plugin-DEBUG: No Xinput2 support, disabling plugin Steps to reproduce: Configure a custom keyboard shortcut (in the gnome control panel, keyboard applet) and then press the associated key. Nothing happens. Proposed solution: After some research, it seems that is has been solved in gnome-settings-daemon 3.6. The solution should be easily backported (please see the attached file). Thank you in advance. -- Rodrigo |

Reason for closing: Won't implement
Additional comments about closing: GNOME 3.6 is in gnome-unstable, we won't fix 3.4 as 3.6 will be in extra soon.
