And the bug is.... ? The PKGBUILD declares the package as being GPL as well as LGPL. Both are correct if you look at the COPYING file in the top level directory of the repo.

Maybe we are looking at two differents packages. The one I have access to declares it only GPL2:
http://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/tree/trunk/PKGBUILD?h=packages%2Fgdk-pixbuf2

and the COPYING file and I have access to is LGPL:
http://git.gnome.org/browse/gdk-pixbuf/tree/COPYING?h=gdk-pixbuf-2-24
