Details

The acpid package adds a handler.sh script (not from upstream) which tries to change the CPU frequency based on AC events. This is unlikely to be something you actually want to do on modern CPUs[1], and it won't work anyway since ondemand is the default governor.

systemd is also already handling sleep, power, hibernate and lid events through logind, and acpid should not ship with a script handling sleep/poweroff keys by default (double suspend isn't very fun).

I updated default handler to only logs events and do nothing more.
