Attempting to fix failed arch system after upgrade to kernel
2.6.12.
Cannot use hdxy nomenclature to address the system partitions. Suspect the use of arch 0.7 CD cannot apply to udev system for repair activity. |

If you need to fix your Arch system with a 0.7 CD, you'll need to
use the devfs names for your block devices. It will still work
though -- just make sure you have all udev style (eg, /dev/hdaX)
names on your installed system, so when it boots up w/o devfs, it
won't get confused.

The 0.7.1 iso release will work w/o devfs.
