Details

Description:
Boot stops without any message if partition from fstab does not exists.
For example I forgot to connect my additional hard drive and systemd does not said me what happen.

It will better if emergency shell will activated in this case.

Additional info:
systemd 194-1


Steps to reproduce:
1. Add to /etc/fstab not existing partition
2. Reboot

Arch Linux isn't changing this behavior. Report it upstream if you want this altered.

Have you tried waiting for the timeout? Should be a few minutes.

I just checked, really, about after 1 minute systemd showed me timeout (and dependency failures) message and emergency shell activated.
So, this is not a bug. I had to be a little more patient)
