DetailsEvince doesn't include .desktop files. Not that big of an issue, since evince is usually just called when you double click a pdf or something of the like.

The .desktop file comes with DontShow=true. The reason why they did this is simple: there's no need to start your viewing application, look for the file you want to view and then open that. Quicker way is to locate the file in nautilus and double-click it.
