Details/etc/pam.d/kdm needs to include loginuid for proper operation with systemd. This is harmless with sysvinit, as it'll merely create a session ID that isn't used. If the kernel doesn't have CONFIG_AUDIT=y, then this will fail gracefully.
Better yet, you should adopt pambase. You can probably take a look at what gdm is doing and use that as a starting point. |
