Description:
Currently, it is not possible to allow the "discard" mount option (for TRIM commands on SSD partitions) when the partition is mounted via pam_mount (e.g. for encryption). These was a patch submitted and merged upstream: http://pam-mount.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb.cgi?p=pam-mount/pam-mount;a=commit;h=aa0d624
It would be nice to gain TRIM support for partitions mounted via pam_mount since that will benefit the lifespan of a SSD considerably. Please consider to add this patch to the current Arch Linux package "pam_mount", since the last upstream release of pam_mount was on 2011-12-15 and I would appreciate if I can avoid beating my SSD cells to death because of this missing feature.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
pam_mount 2.13-3

Steps to reproduce:
Mount an encrypted partition via pam_mount and specify "discard" as mount option in /etc/security/pam_mount.conf.xml.
Expected: TRIM support for the partition.
Got:
# fstrim /home/
fstrim: /home/: FITRIM ioctl failed: Operation not supported
