chronic doesn't work without perl-ipc-run, which is only an optional dependency. I propose moving it to the required dependencies to avoid this, since chronic just crashes with a (for a non-Perl programmer) non-descriptive error message if perl-ipc-run isn't installed. It took me a few minutes to find out what's wrong. Package version is 0.47-1. Steps to reproduce: * Remove perl-ipc-run (or don't have it installed). * Try to run chronic. |
