Detailsvlc has a hard dependency on ttf-freefont as default subtitle fonts I suppose. Yet, vlc subtitle font default has been Dejavu Sans for a long time now. It would be more useful to depend on ttf-dejavu or make ttf-dejavu an optdepend.

How do they affect the fonts for VLC and are they necessary?
