DetailsEkiga does not provide the possibility to view the remote video in conversations.
Thus one can only see the image of one's own camera. Aditionally, after several seconds, the video capture freezes on the computer of the dialer. Tested this phenomen on two machines, both running up-to-date arch linux x64. I'm assuming that there are some missing dependencies in the opal library as the launch of ekiga shows with '-d 1' DLL Error loading DLL: /usr/lib/opal-3.10.5/codecs/video/h263_ffmpeg_ptplugin.so: undefined symbol: _Z14av_opt_set_intPvPKcli DLL Error loading DLL: /usr/lib/opal-3.10.5/codecs/video/mpeg4_ffmpeg_ptplugin.so: undefined symbol: av_opt_set_int Attachment: Call of 'ekiga -d 5' with a sample call |
