Many Archers have already moved across to a pure 'systemd' installation. For this reason, please add a "motion.service" file to "/usr/lib/systemd/system/" soon.

I have created and attached a systemd service file for Motion. The second file is used by systemd to create the necessary runtime directory. The "motion.service" file goes in "/usr/lib/systemd/system/" and the "motion.conf" file goes in "/usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/".

You should then run "systemctl --system daemon-reload" to make systemd aware of the "motion.conf" file. If that doesn't happen, just reboot your computer to make it work. Once you're happy with these files, please include them in the next release of Motion.
