Detailsnetcfg-daemon supports an environment variable name NETWORKS_MENU_TIMEOUT. It seems that this was never migrated from rc.conf.
See line 31 in the current version of network-daemon. Please add the following to /etc/conf.d/netcfg (config/netcfg in the source files): # Specify timeout for menu at boot time. # If 0 then the menu will not time out. #NETWORKS_MENU_TIMEOUT=5 |

Using 'menu' in netcfg-daemon is not supported in systemd environments. Of course, this option should be documented somewhere as long as it is supported, but changing /etc/conf.d/netcfg creates a pacnew file for a lot of users. I'd rather do this together with some other change to the config file, if ever. Patches to man pages or additions to the wiki are preferred.

As we don't support /etc/conf.d/* anymore, I guess this can be closed as won't fix?

We certainly *do* support /etc/conf.d/netcfg in netcfg. The reason to close this as won't fix is just that it is rather pointless to fix it.
