Details

Description:
Using qcad crashes xorg.

Additional info:

* Hardware: Thinkpad T430s (with a Intel HD4000 GPU)

* package version(s):

fully updated everything:

% pacman -Q linux
linux 3.5.4-1
% pacman -Q xorg-server
xorg-server 1.12.4-1
% pacman -Q xf86-video-intel
xf86-video-intel 2.20.8-1
% pacman -Q qcad
qcad 2.0.5.0-9

(I just updated, but I had the same issue before the update too.)

* config and/or log files etc.

I've attached Xorg.0.log.old. It includes a backtrace:

Segmentation fault at address 0x1a1

error:
Caught signal 11 (Segmentation fault). Server aborting

Steps to reproduce:

Here's one reliable way:

1. Open qcad
2. Draw a circle:
a) click the circle button on the left toolbar
b) click the "Circle with center and point"
button on the left toolbar
c) click on the drawing area two times
3. Select all (ctrl-a)

Another way would be to open two qcad files, and switch between them
using the Window menu; that method is not reliable though.

Happens with 'Option "AccelMethod" "sna"' but not with 'Option "AccelMethod" "uxa"' in the xorg.conf.

You need to report this upstream or it won't get fixed.
