DetailsDescription: postgresql.service has the line "Environment=PGLOG=/var/log/postgresql.log", however, as it stands it does nothing.
Options: 1) Remove PGLOG. pg_ctl directs log to stderr by default, which goes to systemd journal -- I believe that's better usability than a separate log file 2) Add '-l ${PGLOG}' to the ExecStart line. Then pg_ctl will redirect logging output to this file. |
