QtCurve-gtk has a bug in there cairo code which was triggered by a recent cairo commit[1]. The patch in the bug report can solve the problem. Not sure if this patch have been sent upstream (and not sure where it should be send), but please apply this patch since it is a memory leak even with the current cairo version. I have also attached the PKGBUILD that I used to test (with the patch included) in case it is useful. Patch seems to work for me. Applied for now but please take that patch upstream.
