DetailsJust want to request a packaging feature, at least until upstream supports systemd.
Can we please add systemd .service and .socket files to this package so lircd can be launched via systemd? Currently, I am using a kludge of a .service file wich literally just launches the /etc/rc.d daemon script. Of course, this is not the correct way, as a .socket file should be used for parallelisation. At the moment, I do not have enough info to create this by myself, but am willing to give it a go if you want some code to start with. Cheers. |
