Description:

php-xml and php-dom extensions are not available either as part of this package or as separate packages. These extensions are part of the PHP release and required in order to run software packages such as AjaXplorer.

Both modules are built-in. Check the output of "php -m". I don't see any bug here.

You are right.
I was missing associated lines in php.ini (as in PHP4), but I'm also probably experiencing some other type of problem, since I have rendering issues anyway.
I'll close this and try to better figure out what's going on.
