DetailsThe unreleased systemd support for PostgreSQL has a bug in its initdb script.
The /etc/conf.d/postgresql file shipped with the package has the $PGROOT variable commented out. The initdb script expects this to be set and therefore tries to setup a symlink: Sep 08 11:16:54 sodium postgres[23747]: Creating symlink /var/lib/postgres -> Sep 08 11:16:54 sodium postgres[23747]: rmdir: failed to remove ?/var/lib/postgres?: Directory not empty A fixed initdb script handling an unset $PKGROOT can be found here: https://gist.github.com/3673041 |
