Detailsg'day,
Xen is very poorly documented on Arch to the point where nothing works as expected. Also, the docs found here, miss inform: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xen since one should not edit /boot/grub/grub.cfg directly. The /etc/grub.d/20_linux_xen script is generating empty entries in the GRUB menu. I suspect that the /etc/grub.d/20_linux_xen script is at fault.. However, since nothing is documented I really have no clue. Hence, I am unsure even if this is a fault in the script or something I am missing due to lack of documentation. If this was GRUB-leg, it would be a cake walk. Others have had issues also: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=146593 Background: GRUB2 on pure UEFI system. Perhaps I will figure out how to get rid of GRUB altogether soon and package the kernel directly into EFI bin format. Cheers, Edward. |

Because currently this *does* looks to be a bug in the GRUB scripts to me..
Kind Regards,
Edward.
