Details

In 0.2.1-1man pages (zathurarc(5) and zathura(1)) are not installed. Rather, (compressed) empty files are installed.

In 0.2.0-1 man pages are installed.

upstream irc channel (Sebastinas) suggests:
I think you need to force the setup to use the Python 2 version of rst2man.
The Python 3 version is broken.
But that's only what I heard.
You can also set RSTTOMAN to an empty string. Then the install target will use the shipped man pages.

Please open bug requests in the correct part of the tracker, zathura is a community package
