DetailsWhen you install a package with 'pacman -U', the package won't be added to your $CacheDir (/var/cache/pacman/pkg/ by default).
There should be an option (or default) to make this possible with pacman. |

You can use the file:// protocol to force the downloader to be called and copy the package into the cache for you.
