Description:
I have noticed that files downloaded when using mobile broadband connection get sometimes corrupted. It does not matter which program you use to download it. The akonadi deamons or programms who use the network runs with full CPU load. In /var/log/messages are gigabytes of errormessages. This lines repeats millions of times:

I have the same problem with Ericsson F5521gw(ID 0bdb:1911) on Lenovo Thinkpad T520. I found the same error in my logs:

I did a cleanup of the /var/log directory (it was >20GB since this error is repeated like a gazillion times) and after a fresh boot i downloaded the same file 6 times with wget and got 6 different md5sums. But there weren't any errormessages in the logs.

I think when this error happens it will fill up the logs very quickly - since i got this thinkpad (like 6 weeks) i had to cleanup my /var/log directory 2 times because suddenly i had no space left on /. (Today I kept a backup of all log-files)

So it seems that this error isn't happening very often, but i have problems downloading bigger files the whole time. The only way of getting files > 10mb (over wwan) is to ssh to my pc@home, wget the file there, and then copy it to my laptop using scp. I need some tries until scp succeeds, got errors like "Corrupted MAC on input", but this way i can get files without having to complete the whole download and check md5sum. Btw, although i tried ~10times with wget directly, i never got the file (12mb) with correct md5.

Steps to reproduce:
Download files >10mb (using wwan connection) and check md5sum.

I tested it with the 3.5.3-1 Kernel and there was no problems. But I keep an eye on the kernellogs the next days.

After upgrading to 3.5.3 I just downloaded some files again and now they all got the correct checksum. Will keep an eye on the kernellogs too.
