DetailsDescription:
Since kernel 3.4.7 (though I'm not really sure), sometimes at random, the system logs get suddenly filled up at a dramatic speed with the same exact kernel bug message (included below). I've had to completely erase the contents of /var/log quite a lot of times since it leaves me without any disk space. Additional info: This is exactly what the bug says: [22932.763843] ------------[ cut here ]------------ [22932.763845] WARNING: at net/ipv4/tcp.c:1610 tcp_recvmsg+0xc48/0xd40() [22932.763846] Hardware name: System Product Name [22932.763847] recvmsg [22932.763848] Modules linked in: vmnet(O) vsock(O) vmci(O) vmmon(O) snd_seq asus_atk0110 coretemp snd_usb_audio snd_hda_intel ext4 jbd2 mbcache crc16 snd_hda_codec_hdmi snd_usbmidi_lib snd_rawmidi snd_seq_device snd_hda_codec_realtek snd_hda_codec loop uvcvideo videobuf2_vmalloc videobuf2_memops videobuf2_core snd_hwdep snd_pcm snd_page_alloc snd_timer videodev media lpc_ich snd soundcore intel_agp intel_gtt ppdev r8712u(C) mfd_core atl1c nvidia(PO) fuse hid_generic usbhid microcode usb_storage uas evdev kvm_intel kvm processor parport_pc hid parport pcspkr i2c_core button reiserfs sd_mod pata_acpi uhci_hcd ata_generic ehci_hcd ata_piix usbcore usb_common ahci libahci libata scsi_mod [last unloaded: asus_atk0110] [22932.763888] Pid: 1451, comm: Socket Thread Tainted: P WC O 3.5.2-1-ck #1 [22932.763889] Call Trace: [22932.763891] [<ffffffff8105094f>] warn_slowpath_common+0x7f/0xc0 [22932.763894] [<ffffffff81050a46>] warn_slowpath_fmt+0x46/0x50 [22932.763896] [<ffffffff813bc028>] tcp_recvmsg+0xc48/0xd40 [22932.763898] [<ffffffff813dd411>] inet_recvmsg+0x81/0xd0 [22932.763900] [<ffffffff8112be91>] ? __do_fault+0x441/0x5a0 [22932.763902] [<ffffffff81360d2d>] sock_recvmsg+0x11d/0x140 [22932.763905] [<ffffffff811829a1>] ? touch_atime+0x71/0x110 [22932.763908] [<ffffffff811724c7>] ? pipe_read+0x397/0x500 [22932.763910] [<ffffffff8116a147>] ? fget_light+0x97/0x100 [22932.763912] [<ffffffff8136327f>] sys_recvfrom+0xef/0x170 [22932.763915] [<ffffffff8147ada9>] system_call_fastpath+0x16/0x1b [22932.763916] ---[ end trace 1d7c0b3ea4ecf727 ]--- Each instance of it has the same exact contents.
