After upgrading to 3.4.9 I was unable to rebuild my catalyst package from the aur. The reason I found for this is because the PKGBUILD uses "uname -r" to find the modules directory. Output of "uname -r" from linux 3.4.9-1 is 3.4.8-1-ARCH Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: Upgrade to latest linux package uname -r |

Solution: restart your system. Upgrading the linux package only places the new kernel on the harddrive, but you are still running the old kernel.

Ah right of course...now to figure out why the fglrx module wont load. Errors about an unknown symbol?
