DetailsKDE hungs after recent upgrades. Last successfull upgrade was about few days ago, yesterday I already noticed some bugs, KDE's klipper didn't worked, tray icons theme has not been applied, some keyboard shortcuts (for apps launch) didn't worked, but such shortcuts like Alt+F4 worked fine.
Today I started KDE and tried to run amarok, it failed to start without any error, simply hung. Then I tried to run Dolphin, but it take few minutes to start. See this bug also https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=305188 I have "export QT_NO_GLIB=1" in my /etc/profile, when I tried to comment out this line KDE hang on any my action so I can't even open KDE's start menu. Then I tried to downgrade the glibc to 2.16.0-2 but it didn't helped. Severity is set as high because this issue doesn't allow me to use my PC, please change if incorrect. |

Also, please attach ~/.xsession-errors.
You can get more debug infos if you enable everything in `kdebugdialog`
Xsession errors log attached, things become weird on line 6067 when I launched amarok. I waited about 3-4 minutes but it did not started so I used killall -9 kded4, what returned all things to life.
It's possible to restart the kded4 process after launching all required apps, but it could hang again lather. For example it happens sometime when I click on a link in kmail email browser.
This is kded console output, it always show it before hung:

kdialog also hangs when I hovering/selecting multimedia files (assuming it tries to load same sound modules as system settings wondow does).
I will try to build phonon/phonon-vlc from git.
And system settings windows also show all devices when kded is killed, I simply forgot to set the "Show additional devices" check box.
I guess your D-Bus installation is broken.
How do you start KDE?
Few days ago I had issues with electricity and my PC was crashed few times in a row. Is it possible that some files was lost? I already tried to re-instal dbus packages yesterday. And how can I find those files? pacman -Qk doesn't show any package with missed files.
amarok(2842)/phonon (KDE plugin): QDBusError("org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown", "The name org.kde.kded was not provided by any .service files")
This mean that the problem is somewhere else.
