Details

Description: When trying to set key bindings in gnome control center I could not see anything to do with workplace switching. This is not missing from debian, ubuntu, or fedora.


Additional info:
* gnome control center 3.4.2-1 (64 bit)


Steps to reproduce: - Open gnome control center
- Click on Keyboard
- Click on shortcuts
- Observe lack of options.

I can confirm the issue. (At least, I can confirm that I only have options to switch to workspaces 1-4, despite having more enabled). I can't tell from original bug report what is meant by "I could not see anything to do with workplace switching". Are there none at all in some cases?

In any case, I also made a report on GNOME's bug tracker. Is this an upstream issue?

The problem can be fixed by navigating to:
/org/gnome/desktop/wm/keybindings

And manually editing the keys (keybindings for switch-to-workspace-X). This permits the old behaviour of allowing the use of 1-12.

It appears to just be an issue with the GUI.
