Description:
If one has his root on lvm (using lvm2 package) and is using kernel 3.5, then it's impossible to automatically mount root and one is brought to recovery shell. It's no problem to boot the OS though as then one can issue:

lvm vgchange -ay

in the recovery shell, exit it and the OS will boot just fine.

This was talked about in one of the forum threads. [1]

Additional info:
* package version(s) - latest lvm2 and kernel from testing

Fix is attached either as a git patch and diff.

Sure, you could replace 'lvm pvscan' with 'sleep 1' as well.
