Details

The shutdown/restart code for the non-KDM case (in particular, for GDM users) is based on ConsoleKit right now, and should be ported to systemd.

Already exists a patch to fix this in redrat:

I have tested compiling with patch and -DKWORKSPACE_USE_SYSTEMD:BOOL=ON and it worked perfectly.

I guess this is exclusive. I mean, what about the no-systemd users? Could they shutdown their system if we apply this patch?

Note: this hasn't been pushed upstream so this patch is against our policies.

You're right, sorry. I'll send a modified package to aur, i think it is a good option while the problem is not resolved.
