DetailsDescription:
As title, obexd-0.47 is too fresh that bluedevil can't reconize obexd's service, because obexd changes this dbus namespace. Additional info: obexd-client 0.47-1 bluedevil 1.2.3-1 Steps to reproduce: 1. Ensure bluedevil debus message is opened, you can enable it by 'kdebugdialog --fullmode' 2. Send file by bluedevil. To get more clear output, use command 'bluedevil-sendfile -k 'bluetooth://00-00-00-00-00-00' -f A_FILE' to send file to a bluetooth device. 3. And you can get something errors like it : bluedevilsendfile(13422) SendFilesJob::sendFileResult: Error: bluedevilsendfile(13422) SendFilesJob::sendFileResult: "org.openobex.Error.Failed" bluedevilsendfile(13422) SendFilesJob::sendFileResult: "Connection refused (111)" I resolve this problem by downgrading obexd to 0.45, but bluedevil is still buggy. I get other errors like: bluedevilsendfile(13447) SendFilesJob::sendFileResult: Error: bluedevilsendfile(13447) SendFilesJob::sendFileResult: "org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.InvalidSignature" bluedevilsendfile(13447) SendFilesJob::sendFileResult: "Unexpected reply signature: got "", expected "o"" At last, I resolve it by using this patch https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=297785 https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=72177 then I get bluedevil-send works I'm sorry for my poor English. :( |

That patch is an ugly workaround (you could better downgrade obexd-client), I filed a new bug here: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=305290
