DetailsThe package aur/jre (7.x) is missing an entry in the 'provides' array: 'java-environment' has to be added.
The reason for this is that multiple programs including eclipse and other depend on java-environment, sometimes even on a specific version. If this dependency isn't fulfilled, they block upgrading the entire system! |

When you read that the AUR was unsupported, it meant unsupported. The AUR project in Flyspray is strictly for bugs with the AUR itself (web, RPC, upload, etc), and NOT the packages it contains. It's up to the maintainer of each individual package in the AUR to resolve "bugs" such as these.
