DetailsTried installing blam, a Mono news aggregator, but it couldn't find the mono executable. I added /opt/mono/bin to my PATH and it works. It seems that Mono should add /opt/mono/bin to PATH so that apps can find it.

So I dun see how $PATH isn't uptodate on your system. The only idea I have is that you installed mono with blam and did not relogin, which is a must for all packages that are under /opt/...
