DetailsDescription:
sgml catalogs files of docbook 4.2 are missing in package jade 1.2.1. Those catalog files should be included installed in /usr/share/sgml/jade but they are not present at all. With those files missing, it is not possible to compile SGML documentation using docbook 4.2 like the one in PostgreSQL. A correction in package building looks necessary here. Additional info: * package version(s) 1.2.1 * config and/or log files etc. I compiled all the information to install the catalog files here: http://michael.otacoo.com/manuals/arch-linux/postgres-docs-and-sgml-catalogs/ The catalog files that need to be installed in /usr/share/sgml/jade are available attached. They have been taken directly from the jade source btw, so they remain untouched. Steps to reproduce: After installing jade and packages needed for PostgreSQL installation, get the PostgreSQL code and do the following steps: cd $POSTGRES_CODE ./configure make html #This generates html files based on the sgml docs. |
This task depends upon
jade_catalog_postgres.tar.gz
But there's no need to put docbook schemas into the jade pkg. There's docbook-sgml with the required sgml version catalog.
