When I try to open/save a file via the buttons or menu, I get a "Feature not yet implemented: insert-gui-button requires 'annotations' package" error. The file can be loaded via the CLI (xemacs main.c) and saved with C-x C-s.

I found out that installing xemacs-sumo solved the problem.

Thanks.

The required annotations package is part of xemacs-base:

http://www.xemacs.org/Develop/packages.html

xemacs-base is also a subset of xemacs-sumo. But it's not part of the xemacs-21.5 source distribtuion. Maybe we should create a xemacs-base package, but this package will conflict with xemacs-sumo.

Any suggestions?

Jürgen
