DetailsDescription:
I use my bluetooth headphone at my home and my job, so I use to pair it everytime I move from one place to another. But, at my home, where I update more frequently, I have bluez 4.101. After updating to it (probably also for 4.100), the pairing of the device stopped working, with the following in the log file: bluetoothd[6481]: hci0: Cancel Pair Device (0x001a) failed: Invalid Parameters (0x0d) Google Only returns a couple of similar bugs and one of them suggest rebuilding gnome-bluez, with a successful outcome. So, I did the same for bluedevil and it started to work again. I didn't change anything nor added any patch. Just compiled with bluez 4.101 installed. So, I would like to ask if it would make sense to do a rebuild of bluedevil. Additional info: * package version(s) bluez 4.101-1 bluedevil 1.2.3-1 |

Reason for closing: Not a bug
Additional comments about closing: This is a bug with the kernel or in bluez code, not a packaging bug.

Unfortunately, the problem with pairing is still happening. I'll have to investigate further and report back, if I do any progress.

I talked with the main developer and he told me (as I did suspect) that bluedevil uses the DBus interfaces of bluez. So a rebuild will not fix this issue.
